Hot dip galvanized chassis 2cv AZ until april 1970

This chassis fits on 2CV until april 1970.

This body part piece is hot dip galvanized in a 450°C bath, wich leads to slight deformations of the top and bottom metal sheets.
The galvanisation is happening to the end at the construction of the chassis, so it's common to have to re-drill or tap again some holes (the galvanising layer is thick enough for good protection of the chassis).

You have to protect these chassis with cavity wax and a surface painting so that the guarantee is still applicable.

The floor supports are delivered to be welded on the chassis to avoid that they are being damaged during transport. 

Our chassis from old 2CV pre-1970 don't have a identification number. Since avril 2011, vehicules over 30 years old don't need to have a chassis number, whether for obtaining the technical control or for a passage in collection with the FFVE (French Federation of Vintage Vehicles).
