Belgom Clear Convertible Top 500 ml

Belgom Clear Convertible Top is a liquid product based on a special resin that renovates and waterproofs the tops of classic and modern convertibles made from natural or synthetic fibres. It can also protect black textiles exposed to the weather, such as tarpaulins, tents and awnings.

How to use

1. Clean the surface with Belgom Convertible Top Cleaner and let it dry.
2. Protect the areas around the top to prevent product deposits on other vehicle parts.
3. Shake the bottle vigorously for several minutes.
4. Apply evenly in cross coats on a stretched top, using a wide soft brush or preferably a paint spray gun.
5. Apply a second coat if necessary, allowing at least 6 hours between coats.
6. Leave to dry for 2 to 3 days at a minimum temperature of 15°C before operating the top.

Compatibility

The manufacturer states that Belgom Clear Convertible Top is not compatible with plastic or vinyl tops and must not be used below 5°C.

Precautions

The manufacturer’s product page indicates H226: flammable liquid and vapour, H304: may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways, H336: may cause drowsiness or dizziness, and EUH066: repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Do not smoke, do not apply in direct sunlight, and preferably use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
