Valve lapping kit

This kit includes the tools described on the Retro Design product sheet for reconditioning engine valves. It contains a valve lapping tool fitted with two different-diameter suction cups to suit different valve sizes.

Kit contents

  • one valve lapping tool;
  • two different-diameter suction cups;
  • one pot of coarse-grain lapping compound for removing deposits;
  • one pot of fine-grain lapping compound for polishing and finishing.

Compatibility stated on the product sheet

2CV4, 2CV6, pre-1970 2CV, 2CV van, Acadiane, Ami 6, Ami 8, other Citroën models, DS–ID, Dyane, LN, LNA, Visa and Méhari.

Grain selection and surface preparation should be adapted to the condition of the valves and to the vehicle workshop documentation. Clean the parts carefully after lapping before reassembly.
