BESA URKI-FAST – 2 kg universal polyester putty

BESA URKI-FAST is a two-component polyester putty intended for bodyshops to cover missing material and fill imperfections or dents. The manufacturer states good adhesion, filling power, flexibility and easy sanding.

Preparation and mixing

1. The surface to be repaired must be free from rust and properly degreased.
2. Sand the surface first as recommended by BESA.
3. Mix the putty homogeneously with BPO according to the working temperature.
4. BESA specifies 3% BPO between 5 and 10°C, 2% between 10 and 20°C and 1% above 20°C.
5. Apply with a spatula while avoiding air bubbles.

BESA states a working time of 3 to 5 minutes. At 20°C, stated drying is approximately 30 minutes, with sanding possible using P80 to P180 grades depending on the preparation. For deep filling, apply several coats and allow drying between coats.

Do not apply over wash primer or phosphochromate primers. On steel, BESA recommends protection with a suitable primer where required by the repair system.
