BESA URKI-ZINC cold galvanising Zinc-Alu – 400 ml
BESA URKI-ZINC is an acrylic primer for touching up and repairing zinc-coated parts, welded joints and structural steel. It is intended for automotive, metal components, DIY, fencing and metal-door applications.
Properties
- appearance similar to hot-dip galvanising;
- corrosion protection;
- stated resistance up to 300°C;

Preparation and application
- Remove rust, degrease and dry the metal substrate.
- On aluminium, sand the surface first.
- Shake the aerosol for approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
- Apply 2 to 3 thin coats from 20–30 cm, leaving 5 to 10 minutes between coats.
- After use, invert the aerosol and clean the valve.
The manufacturer states approximately 15 minutes drying time and overcoating within the first 12 hours after drying. The BESA sheet recommends suitable personal protective equipment and states that the product is for professional use only.
