BESA PROMOTER 895 plastic adhesion primer – 400 ml

BESA PROMOTER 895 is a one-component adhesion primer designed to improve paint adhesion on many automotive plastic parts and hard plastics.

The manufacturer lists PP, PUR, PS, PA, PP-EPDM, ABS, PVC, GRP, PC and POM plastics. For other materials, BESA recommends consulting its technical department.

The product is suitable for touch-ups, small areas and patch applications. It can be overcoated with most current finishing paints and enamels.

Preparation and application

1. Remove dirt with water and soap.
2. Allow the surface to dry, then degrease with URKISOL 94 plastic cleaner.
3. If necessary, sand finely with P600 grit, then remove dust and degrease.
4. Shake the aerosol for 2 to 3 minutes.
5. Spray from 20–30 cm in 1 to 2 thin coats.
6. Allow approximately 2 minutes evaporation between steps and follow BESA’s drying guidance.

After use, invert the aerosol and clean the valve. BESA states that the product is for professional use only and recommends suitable personal protective equipment.
