Restom ProtecPot 8835

Restom ProtecPot 8835 is an anticorrosion product for the inside of exhaust silencers.

Application information

1. shake before use ;
2. pour the product into the silencer ;
3. shake if the product does not cover the entire inside surface ;
4. leave for at least one hour, or up to one month if the silencer is heavily carbonised ;
5. empty and drain the product.

Properties and limitations

• not suitable for absorption silencers or baffled silencers, because the product could not then be emptied ;
• not suitable for manifolds ;
• the product can be recovered and filtered for reuse on another silencer ;
• stated protection: 1 to 5 years depending on vehicle use ;
• white smoke may be released during the first 50 kilometres.
