Rectangular headlight European Code (EC)

This rectangular headlight is European Code (CE) approved and is therefore intended for a CE type bulb which is not supplied. We sell bulbs separately.
This front lighting part for 2cv has a plastic casing. (For metal casings, see D6142)

The CE mounting (European code) with foolproof base is the mounting originally used on 2CVs. The H4 attachment appeared later on recent 2cvs.

Rectangular headlights were seen for the first time on the 2cv in September 1974, which were intended for modernization and more powerful lighting. Since these headlights are wider, their spacing is greater and are therefore fixed on a specific stem. They are marketed until July 1987 on the 2CV6 club in France.
