A specific tool for gearbox servicing

Some gearboxes use a drain plug that requires a 17 mm hex key. This tool provides access to the plug when that size matches the vehicle installation.

Before ordering

Identify or measure the gearbox drain plug. Do not force a different-size tool into the recess: the wrong size can damage it and make removal more difficult.
