This suspension piece was made for the last AK400 but fits also on old AK400, AK350, Ami 6 and Ami 8. However, this suspension cylinder won't fit on Acadiane because the rear tube rod is too short.
It mounts without suspension cylinder stops but rather with aluminum cones.

Your 2CV suspension cylinder make noises ? No grease needed ! Drill a small tapped at the top of the cylinder, pour a few drops of engine oil and close with a screw cut flush.

There are 2 suspension cylinders by vehicle and there are positionned horizontally each side of the chassis. Each suspension cylinder is connected to a front wheel and a rear wheel via the suspension arms and move back and forth thanks to the 2 springs that compose it. A suspension cylinder allow the car to keep contact with the ground, while the shock absorber absorb shocks. The suspension cylinder allow also to adjust the hight of your 2CV.
